What will you remember?
What will you remember longest about this story? Did you find anything humorous in the story? Which part was the saddest? the most surprising? the most thought provoking? Did you learn anything from the book - about the Depression, California, ranch life, human beings or society, etc. ?

I think I'll remember longest the part where Lennie kills Curley's wife. The sad part is when Curley is hitting Lennie and he doesn't do anything back until George tells him to and then he feels bad because he hurt Curley badly. The most surprising and provoking is when George kills Lennie his bestfriend. I learned about ranch life which I didn't know anything about.
of how lennie wants to have this life time dream with george and be able to tend to rabitts. that george has to keep reapeting his self over and over again.of how lennie killed the puppie.only just you have to live life and go by the rules
the one thing that i will always remember about the story is how george and lennie stayed together.that george didnt leave lennie and when curley went to kill lennie george went to look for him and find him first.the saddest part is when george has to kill lennie you can tell that he didnt want to do it but he felt it was the right thing.george would of done anything for lennie just like lennie would do for goerge
I will remember how it was hard was a ranch worker to try to get a place of their own, they had to work very hard. i will remember that Lennie was a good man because he loved to work and he didn't mean any harm to the mice. I thought it was a great way to describe the hardshps of the depression.
The funniest Part of the story is when geogre is telling him the dream and he tells lennie he better make shure the cats Dont get at the rabbits. And lennie started swearing and said he would kill the cats. There are two saddest parts the fisrt is when curly is hitting lennie and he isn't doing anything back.I learned That Women didnt have very high figures for themselves back then!
I will remember the part where Lennie is talking about running off to the mountians. I find the part when Candy tells George that Curley has his hand in a glove of vaseline for his wife very humorous. The saddest part of the book is when George has to shoot Lennie. The most provoking part of the book is when Curley is trying to getm Lennie to hit him. I learned that no one, but the rich were treated right back then.
I think I am going to remember is how George and Lennie stuck together through thick and thin. I also am going to remember that Lennie kiled Curley's wife and when Lennie remembers to go hide in the brush. Also when Lennie says that Curley's wife is "purty" and when Lennie says "i'll tend the rabbits. I learned things about ranch life and how hard it is to work on a ranch.
i will probably remember their dream more than anything else in the book.
the part that was the saddest was definately the part where George kills Lennie but the most suprising was where Lennie kills Curley's wife.
from the book, i learned that everyone makes mistakes, nobody is perfect, and everyone needs to be happy.
I think I'll remember when George and lennie are in the ditch hiding and Lennie asks George to tell him the story about their dream. I think it was sad because he Lennie knows about the dream and he tells George to tell them about the house and rabbits. Then at the end its sad because Lennie and George were really going to get a house but George has to kill him because he killed Curley's wife.
there is many things that happend in the story that i will remember like how Lennine looked up to George and then George shoots him, and the dream. the dream is the thing that kept Lennie and George going and when Lennnie dies, so does the dream.
There are many things that i will remember from this novel. I will remember that friendship is a wonderful thing and without it you would become very lonley.
the part that i will remember is when lennie killed curleys wife because it was surprising and i didnt expect lennie to do something like that.the saddest part was when george had to choose whether to kill his best friend or have otheres make him suffer.
I believe that the part that sticks out most in my mind is when Geogre killed Lennie. This is the saddest and most surprising because it shows how helping a friend can be so drastic and so kind at the same time.
I think I will remember the most is the fact that George was there for Lennie when Lennie was in need of a friend the most after his aunty past away. I think that the most humorous part of this book is when Lennie kept asking George to repeat the dream and he would tell it when George got to a part he liked. I think that the saddest thing is when Lennie killed the puppy. The most surprising thing about this movie was that Lennie got killed and Curly didn't I really wanted to see Lennie kill him. I think the most thought pprovoking is when George kills Lennie but I do respect George for doing it so that Lennie didn't have to suffer but that was wrong two wrongs don't make a right. I learned from this book that know matter the size the person as big as you or bigger can do the same. I also learned that the most meanful looking person could be the most nicest person as long as you get to know that person before judging them.
I believe the part that made me think the most was when Carlson's gun was stolen and why would George even think about taking the Luger and pulling the trigger with his very fingers and nailing the bullet into Lennie's head to make him pass away in the breeze. In ways this prove to be very astonishing, thought provoking, sad, and something I will remember all my life.
i agree with becca. It almost cried when Curley was beating Lennie up and he was crying until George told him to get him. I wasnt that surprised that Lennie died because i was told the ending but i think that if it were someone who wasnt told that would be very shoking. Lennie was his best friend and a human being even though he was mentally ill. But i guess thats what i learned. That back then if you were mentally ill you could be hung if you killed a person. But if a perfectly normal person killed someone with mental illness it would be perfectly fine.
