Ending

How did you feel about the ending of Of Mice and Men? How did you "see it coming? Do you think that George did the right thing? Do you think that George and Lennie would ever have gotten their place if Lennie hadn't gotten in trouble?

NO. lennie did not deserve to die. lennie ment noo harm he was always nicxe and trying to do the rite thing. yes he killed curleys wife but he didnt do it om purpose. lennie has a gift. he is rele strong and works hard. he has a disadvantage because he couldnt tell his own strength. george didnt have to kill him it wasnt the right thing to do he could of took the money and went and bought the farm like they wer gonna. no one would of cought them the wouldent have even looked at the farm that they wer gonna buy.
i think it wasnt rite that lennis had to die curleys wife was starting problems and she had it comeing so thet shouldnt have blamed it all on lennie.
ITS MY B-DAY ITS MY B-DAY ITS MY B-DAY

I didn't like the ending because Lennie got killed. i saw it coming because lennie killed everything he pet. i believed that they could of had a better punishment. George was being nice because if Curley did it Lennie would have surffered and with George shooting him he didn't suffer.

I really didn't like the ending because george had to kill lenniie because he killed curley's wife. The only reason was because he was playing with it and she said stop and he got mad and snapped her neck.

i do not like the ending because i dont believe that George should have done that to his best friend Lennie. Lennie didn't deserve to die. If anything i think that George should have protected him and ran away with him so that Lennie didn't get hurt.

I liked the ending of the novel. I like it because it shows what a friend would do for another friend. George knew that Lennie was going to be torcherd so george knew that he needed to kill Lennie himself. This shows how far George would go to do what was best for Lennie.

I believe that the ending was sad but Lennie had it coming and you could see it coming with the foreshadowing of Lennie's killings. I think George did the right thing because now nobody can hurt him or torture him. If Lennie hadn't gotten in trouble Lennie,George, and the other guys might have gotten their place.

I think that the ending is really sad. I can't believe that George killed him. I think that he could've explained to him what he did wrong but Lennie doesn't really know what's right and wrong and that what he did was wrong. I knew something was going to happen to Lennie because he is killing a small thing like a mouse and then he kills a dog and then he had to go to the next level of humaning beings. I think that George did dod the right hting because Curley was going to make Lennie suffer the pain because he killed Curley's wife. I think that they would have gotten their place because they were close and now they had three of them and that was less money to save between to guys. But then I think that it might not have because George was going to place like the club.

I think the ending was brutal. Lennie should never have died in vain. A cruel punishment to a guy with the thoughts of a child has no reason to not stay on this very land we call with pleasure our Earth. To me he was a normal man living in an abnormal world.

The ending definatly caused tears but I think that Steinbeck did the right thing by making Lennie die in the end. In real life I dont think that George should have killed Lennie because he ment no harm out of killing Curleys wife. He warned her but shes trampy and lonley so I personally think she had it comming. But I think it was the right thing for the author to do because it makes the book more interesting and more realistic.

I felt tears at the end. I "saw" it coming because Lennie accidently kills Curley's wife. He meant no harm at all. He was trying gte her to be quiet, so he would be able to tend the rabbits. I think that George had to do it. He wouldn't want some stranger to kill Lennie and then be able to brag that they killed a guy. George was put into a difficult position he loved Lennie like a brother, if you think about it, and it was either kill him or have someone else kill him and they brag about it. I do think they would have gotten their little place if Lennie hadn't gotten in trouble. I do because Candy already had his money and they were saving.
