Once again, welcome to our class blog! The blog is a place for you to discuss your thoughts about our class reading and activities. We will visit the computer lab, as a class on a regular basis. There will be various assignments and questions posted here that you must complete and discuss.
You are also welcome to visit our blog outside of class, independently and I encourage you to do so. This is a place where you can ask your classmates questions about the reading or other things related to our class.
I remind you, however, that your activity on this site will be closely monitored and you are responsible for your comments. Your comments should be acceptable to everyone. That includes your parents, grandparents, younger siblings, teachers, Principal, etc. Your postings should not inlcude any material that any of these people might find offensive. If you need to think twice about saying something, it is probably best to leave it out.

he aint guilty he didint rape that young girl. her father beat he.
Tom isnt guilty he didnt do it. Mayella's dad raped her and beat her.
tom robinson was found guilty beacuse he is a black man in the 1930s getting convicted for raping a white girl.i think that it could happen if they had real evidence that he did indeed do it.it wouldnt be fair if it happened today unless they had evidence that somethign like that really did happen.you cant just find someone guilty based on their race or anything like that
Tom robinson is not guilty.all the evidence states That he was not guilty. how could he hit a girl with his left hand When he barley had any strangth in his left hand!mayella was just ashamed to admitt that she had come on to tom robinsion because it was sin for a white woman to be attracted to a black man!If this was to happen to day I would stand up For him because Racial profiling Is just wrong!

The jury finds Tom Robinson guilty because he is black and black people back in the 1930's were almost always found guilty and were discriminated against and hated. Even if they didnt do it they were found guilty. In the present day this would never happen. We have fair trials and laws preventing discrimination. If it ever did happen, someone would bring it to the presidents or someone's attention and they would make it a fair trial.
In spite of the evidence to the contrary, the jury finds Tom Robinson guilty. Why does the jury find Tom Robinson guilty? To Kill a Mockingbird is fiction, but do you think that something like this could really happen? If this happened today, what would you do about it?
They find him guilty because back then blacks didnt have equal rights or as many rights as they have now.yes i do believe something like this might have happened.i would kill the false acuser.

Tom is was convicted guilty because he was black man and a black man in the 1930's convicted of raping a white girl would be guilty. i would set the man free because he seemed that he was not lieing and he cried and siad he was trying to get out of the house and mayella would not let him. i think if that happened today he would be set free.
I think its wrong they found him guilty only because hes black.
Tom Robinson is not guilty, all the evidence proves that. It could happen if he really did do it but he didn't. Today he probably would not be convicted because his lawyer would have proved him innocent if he really didn't do it.
